IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION
The 6 Week Blogging Course commences on Sunday November 4, 2018.
The course is all housed in Teachable and I will provide you with your login prior to the course commencing.
Each week I will release a new module to you in Teachable.
I am doing a weekly drop rather than giving you everything at once because I know what it feels like to get overwhelmed with information. By giving you a module a week so we are on the same page and completing what needs to be done in the process so by the end of the 6 weeks you have a fully functioning blog.
You didn’t think I was going to let you relax until the course started did you? :)
There are a few things I want you to do in the next few weeks to prepare yourself for the program. I will be checking in on you in the Facebook group over the next few weeks so try and make these things a priority so you are setting yourself up for success.
We spoke about this on Day 1 of the challenge and how important it is to have a clear and healthy mindset, so this is exactly what I want you to focus on before we get stuck into the program. I know you are feeling a bunch of mixed emotions right now: excited, scared, nervous, overwhelmed - and all of this is normal. But we need to clear the chatter in our minds and be open to change and new opportunities. Our mind is so powerful and at times our inner mean girl will come to town and tell us we aren’t worthy or good enough which is completely untrue. I know this because my mean girl was in my head for a really long time before I kicked her to the curb! So I am here to help you do the same and I promise you will feel a giant weight lifted off and ready to take on the world!
Here are some of my favourite ways to focus on my mindset:
Meditation - I’m no hippy but I have a new found respect for meditation. It has allowed me to quieten the voices of self doubt in my head and really centre myself so I can be aligned with my purpose and values. I think a lot of people overcomplicate meditation, I know I did, but what it really comes down to is your breathing. Find a quiet place, relax and just breathe. Deep breaths in and out, feel the breath enter and leave your body and focus only on that. Trust me, it works wonders and I always finish a meditation with a clearer, more positive mind. I personally find guided meditations to be my favourite and there are heaps of apps you can download, some of my faves being:
Reading - I am not a big reader but I have lost myself in a few books lately which have really given me new perspective on my mindset and how I have been treating myself internally. Some books I have read which I highly recommend are:

Surrounding yourself with positive people - it sounds like a no brainer but if someone is not being supportive of you or your goals then you need to ask yourself if they really have your best intentions in mind. By signing up to this program you have already decided that this is something you want to do which in turn will bring you happiness and don’t you deserve that? The answer is always yes (I hope you didn’t hesitate on that one!)
I want you to create a space for yourself where you can work on your blog. Somewhere you feel relaxed, focused and free of noise and clutter. Perhaps you have a desk you can work at or a nook in the backyard - wherever makes you feel like you will be most productive. By doing this we are allowing ourselves to get in the zone. When we are in this place we are putting our blogging cap on and getting to work. I often try to work in front of the TV but there are so many distractions and I want you to give yourself this time to really focus on setting up your dream blog.
