Cancer Council Matte Sunscreen SPF50+ Review

Marisa Robinson Makeup Artist - Cancer Council Matte Sunscreen

As you would have read in my 2016 Beauty "Resolutions" post (if you haven't you can read it here) I have vowed to wear sunscreen more regularly this year to protect my skin from the harsh UV rays, sun damage and to reduce the risk of skin cancer.

I don't like using the 'C' word but skin cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in Australia, with between 95-99% caused by excess exposure to the sun, so it is super important we protect the skin we are in!

But finding the perfect formula isn't always easy. My biggest sunscreen pet peeve is when it is super thick and leaves your skin feeling oily and sticky. When I am enjoying my off duty makeup days the last thing I want is to feel like I have oil slicked skin!

But thanks to the good people at The Cancer Council Australia there is a new kid on the block this Summer who has changed the game for me! The new Day Wear Matte Face Sunscreen in SPF50+ is everything I have been looking for in a sunscreen and more!

The new matte formula is light, absorbed quickly into my skin and left it feeling soft and smooth! I often get oily throughout my T-Zone so the matte finish really helped combat that plus I can wear it under my makeup so I have no excuse not to be protected all year round.

The Cancer Council is an amazing foundation that has your health in mind and every branded product sold raises money for cancer research, treatment and support.

*A huge thank you to The Cancer Council Australia for sending me these amazing products and keeping me safe this Summer! All opinions expressed are honest and my own.
