February Favourites

Marisa Robinson Makeup Artist February Favourites

I can't believe it is March, where has the year gone?! But with a new month comes new favourites and I am here to share the products I have been loving through Feb!

Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate Nude Collection, Lipstick #45
I originally saw these on Lauren Curtis' Instagram so of course I rushed out to buy them immediately! But being the indecisive person I am I couldn't just choose one shade so I ended up buying three of the five in the collection! The formula is nice and creamy, it actually feels like it is hydrating my lips as well as making them look fabulous, and they have a really lovely scent. I find that #45 is the perfect shade for my skin tone - it's not too nude and has a hint of pink, so it's more of a mauve hue which is my typical go to. I am almost half way through the bullet so I think I am going to buy some backups!

Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette
This palette has just launched in Australia but when I was in L.A at the start of February my friend Crystal spoilt me with it and I have been using it ever since! I don't just love it because it smells like chocolate (although I will admit that is a huge bonus!) but because it has the most beautifully pigmented shades, light and dark, perfect for creating day and night looks. I also love that it contains a variety of matte and shimmer colours. The shades I am pretty sure I will hit pan on first are 'Cashew Chew', 'Cotton Candy', 'Almond Truffle' and 'Satin Sheets' which also makes for the perfect brow highlight.

trilogy Mineral Radiance Mask
If you have been following my blog and social channels you will know I have been obsessed with this face mask. Not only because it is made from all natural ingredients but because my skin feels so soft and hydrated after using it.  I have been using it weekly and it's great because it is also forcing me to have 10 minutes of down time where I just sit back and relax while the mask works its magic!

Prada Candy Eau De Parfum
It was love at first smell! I don't normally fall for magazine fragrance sample strips but as soon as I smelt Prada Candy I knew I had to have it! I went to my local department store and tried it on first to see how the scent lasted throughout the day and what it was like once it had settled. Unique, sweet, I cannot put this perfect perfume into words, but Prada describes it as a combination of 'Musk, Benzoin and Caramel in excessive proportions, sweetly addictive.'

Morphe 'E5' Pro Mini Fan Brush
If you want your highlight or bronzer to shine to the gods, THIS brush is going to make it happen! I have used other fan brushes but none have given me the same results as the Morphe E5 Pro Mini (it doesn't look mini but compared to the other Morphe Fan brushes it really is!).
This synthetic brush is slightly dense so you have great control, while the super soft bristles easily pick up the product and creates the perfect glow as you lightly dust it onto your  cheekbones.

Fave Feb App: Snap Chat
While this app isn't new, I have just started embracing it more and actually talking in my snaps! Not only is it an easy way to keep up to date with my favourite beauty bloggers stories, but it provides hours of entertainment (have you tried the face swap filter?!).
