Antipodes Halo Skin Brightening Mud Mask Review

Antipodes Halo Skin Brightening Mud Mask Marisa Robinson Beauty

I love nothing more than a good face mask sesh! Not only does it force me to relax for at least half an hour but it leaves my skin feeling fabulous. So when the new Antipodes Halo Skin Brightening Mud Mask landed on my desk I was really excited to try it out.

In this blog post I will be sharing my review on the Antipodes Halo Skin Brightening Mud Mask and how it has been working for my skin.

Before I share my thoughts here is some information direct from the packaging:
Mud-paint your face to deeply deliver skin-brightening extracts for instant light and lift. Help improve your skin's appearance with antioxidant compound Vinanza, Grape and Kiwi. Prized peony also contributes to a bright and luminous visage by addressing uneven tone, while jojoba esters help shift deadened cells. Detox your skin with mineral-blessed volcanic mud from geothermal New Zealand, reversed for it regenerative brilliance.

The Antipodes Halo Skin Brightening Mud Mask is cruelty free and Vegan approved.

As directed, lavish a thick layer of this creamy mask over a cleansed face and neck, avoiding the eye area. The mask comes with a mini spatula which makes application really easy.

Straight away you will be greeted by the beautiful and fresh scent of the mask which makes the 15 minute leave time even more enjoyable.

After about 5 minutes the mask starts tightening on my skin and by 10 minutes it is completely dry and hard, making it hard to move my face.

To remove the mask rinse away with warm water and a clean muslin cloth. Pat your skin dry with a clean towel and apply your favourite serum or lotion.

Since receiving the mask I have used it four times, twice a week as recommended, and my skin is looking and feeling fabulous. It is certainly brighter and clearer and I love that it reduces the oil around my t-zone. I have typically been using it at night and it does leave my cheeks feeling a little dry so I apply a couple of drops of my Antipodes Apostle Skin Brightening water-based serum to hydrate the skin.

I will definitely be continuing to use this mask on a weekly basis. I love the Antipodes range and also the ethics of the company for using natural ingredients and their dedication to environmental sustainability.

Have you tried the Antipodes range?
