I cannot believe it is September! Where has the year gone?! In my August favourites I share some of my must have makeup and beauty products for the month and why I love em!
MakeupGeek X Manny MUA Eyeshadow Palette
I am a huge MakeupGeek eyeshadow fan so when one of my fave beauty YouTubers, Manny MUA, released an eyeshadow palette collab I knew I had to have it (as much as I tried to resist!)
The palette contains 9 beautifully pigmented shades and are a combination or matte shadows and shimmers. What I love most about this palette is the versatility and the endless looks you can create using it! A neutral everyday look can be easily transformed into a dramatic glam look but adding some of the more bold shades such as 'Mars' and then adding a little golden glow using 'Luna'.
According to Mannys IG, this limited edition palette has almost sold out and once it has it will be gone forever so be sure to grab it before it's gone!
Oribe Supershine Moisturing Cream
I am not a fan of using lots of hair products but this gem has safely secured a place in my haircare regimen! It has without a doubt given my overly bleached/colored hair life and it is super easy to use! Once I have washed and towel dried my hair as normal, I put a 20 cent piece size into the palm of my hand, rub my hands together and then work it through my hair. I start at the middle and take it through to the ends and then use whatever excess I have on my hands on my roots (or else my roots get a little too conditioned which can lead to oiliness). I then brush my wet hair with a tangle teezer and dry/style. The product isn't too thick so it evenly distributes throughout your hair for soft, healthy locks!
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination Concealer
If you're a regular on my blog you will know that my obsession with It Cosmetics is real! So when they released their cult classic Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer in a new illuminating formula I had to put it to the test! Just like the original, the Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination Anti-Aging Concealer provides full coverage but also contains 'Drops of Light Technology' which creates a radiant glow! I opted for the shade 'Light', the lightest of their 4 shade range, and I apply a little bit onto the tip of my fingers and softly pat it under my eyes to instantly brighten and conceal any darkness which may be lurking! A little bit goes a really long way so I use my finger to tap/blend it out and then a damp beauty blender to take it down into the 'V' shape under my eyes. The formula blends really nicely and it has a soft subtle glow so not sparkly or shiny.
Uni Organics Forever Tan - Gradual Tan Moisturiser
I won't spend too long recapping this amazing product because I feel I have gushed about it so much in my latest Believe The Hype blog post, but if I had to describe it in 5 words they would be: 'Effortlessly, natural, sun kissed glow' - a must try if you're wanting to safely and gradually transition from a pale, winter complexion to gorgeous summer skin!
Urban Decay 'Vice' Lipstick Collection
Lipstick is definitely my 'Vice' so I was super excited to try the new collection from Urban Decay consisting of 100 new shades in 6 different finishes (Mega Matte, Comfort Matte, Cream, Metallized, Sheer and Sheer Shimmer).
The first shade I picked up from the collection was 'Trance', a metallized nude-mauve shimmer (the combination of fave signature lip shades), and I was immediately hooked! The creamy formula glides beautifully over the lips and gives perfect colour payoff for a long lasting lip look! Plus with natural ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Jojoba and Avacado oil this natural beauty hydrates and moisturizers the lips too!
My latest additions are 'Naked' and 'Sheer Liar' and I dare say they won't be my last!
It's safe to say there is a shade and finish to suit everyone in this 'collect em all' collection which is now available at Mecca - look out for Aussie hottie Ruby Rose who is the face of the Vice campaign!
