Bioeffect EGF Serum Review

Marisa Robinson Beauty Bioeffect EGF Serum

Last year I had the pleasure of celebrating the launch of all-natural Icelandic skincare brand, BIOEFFECT. During this beautiful and intimate dinner at the Intercontinental Double Bay we were introduced to their best-selling EGF Serum and in this blog post I am going to share it with you and why I am loving it!

We believe effective, transformative, truly hydrating skin care is not created by marketing departments, unpronounceable ingredients, expensive packaging, or outdated technology, but by cutting-edge science and a radically new approach.

The Bioeffect EGF Serum contains only 7 plant based ingredients and no preservatives, fragrance or colourants.

The Bioeffect EGF Serum is used by over 30% of Icelandic women since its launch in 2010.

Bioeffect use natural geothermal energy and pure subterranean glacial water.

Bioeffect do not test on animals, YAY!

EGF stands for Epidermal Growth Factor which stimulates cell growth. Bioeffect have discovered a groundbreaking new method for growing cellular activators for healthier, younger-looking skin using a barley-based cellular activator. While competitors grow EGF in bacteria, Bioeffect has bio-engineered a plant-based replica of EGF grown in a carbon emissions-free greenhouse in inert volcanic pumice to ensure its absolute safety and purity. This major scientific breakthrough saw Bioeffect win a Nobel Prize in 1986 for discovering an EGF which stimulates the skin to renew itself.

I have been using Bioeffect EGF Serum since November and my skin is loving it and there is a visible difference! I have been applying it after cleansing my skin at night and using it solo without any other products.

I simply use the dropper and dispense 3-4 drops onto my fingertips, massage it onto my face and neck and letting it absorb before catching those zzz's. I find this serum doesn't completely absorb and there is some which sits on the skins surface but by the morning it is completely dry.

I have found a noticeable difference in my skin. Not only is it more hydrated and plump but my complexion looks to have improved with my skins surface feeling smoother and the darkness under my eyes has reduced.

I am definitely going to keep using this as part of my nightly skincare routine and hopefully these amazing results will continue!

BioEffect is available in a 15ml bottle for $195AUD from the Bioeffect website, David Jones and Adore Beauty.
