Get The Look: Girl Grey

Turn up the heat this winter in a statement smokey eye with a grey twist.
Add extreme lashes and a bold lip to take this look from day to play!

Hydrate the skin using Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist and then apply Too Faced Primed and Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer to the entire face to create a smooth base and to reduce any visible pores. Prep the lips using the Lush Cosmetics Bubblegum Lip Scrub and lip balm to make them soft and smooth.

Dot Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation to the face and blend with a damp Beauty Blender.

Conceal under the eyes and using Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer and set the eyes and face using Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Setting Powder.

Contour the face using 'Sombre' from the Kat Von D's Shade + Light Contour Palette and add some colour to the cheeks using Zoeva Luxe Colour Blush 'Last Love'

Using a fan brush highlight the tops of the cheekbones, cupids bow and brow bone with 'Radiance' from the Laura Mercier Candleglow Luminizing Palette.

Shape and feather the brows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in 'Medium Brown' and with an angle brush fill in using the taupe shadow form the Bobbi Brown Brow Kit.  Lightly apply Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel to hold any natural brow hairs in place.

For my eyes I used shades from Makeup Geek but feel free to use your favourite eyeshadows to create this look. I love Makeup Geek eyeshadows because they are pigmented, come in a great range of colours and are super affordable!

Apply a neutral matte nude shade (I used 'Vanilla Bean') to the eyelids to create a smooth base.

With a fluffy blending brush apply a dusty pink matte shadow into the crease (I used 'Cupcake'). Go back and forth in a fast, light handed motion to blend and create a transition shade.

Once done, pick up a grey matte shadow (I used 'Stealth') and apply it to the outer corner of the mobile lid to add some depth. Then with a clean fluffy brush lightly blend to fuse the shades on the lid together and soften any harsh lines.

Then from the centre of the mobile lid to the inner corner use a flat brush to pack on a white shimmer shadow (I used 'Ice Queen') for a hint of glam to this matte smokey eye.

For the lower lash line, apply the same grey matte shadow to the outer corner bringing it in towards the centre using a pencil brush. Then from the centre of the lower lash line to the inner corner, apply the same dusty pink matte shadow. Then lightly blend over the top of both shades with a fluffy brush to smoke it out. Dot the inner corner of the eye with the same white shimmer shadow.

Line the upper lash line with Sephora Liquid Liner and coat the lashes with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.

Line and fill the lips using the Too Faced Perfect Lips Lip Liner in 'Nude' and coat the lips with Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in 'Doll Parts' for a pretty pink pout.
