Herbs and Hert Elixir Review
You guys know I am a huge fan of Australian based eco-luxe natural skincare company Herbs and Heart (you can check out my previous review here) so it was a no brainer when I was asked if I wanted to try their rich anti-oxidants Elixir.
I was kindly sent a 10ml bottle to try and In this blog post I am going to share my thoughts and impressions.
Before I do here is some information on the serum straight from the Herbs and Heart website:
The Herbs & Heart 'Elixir' is a real treat for your skin. A light serum designed to rescue dull, stressed skin, Elixir is the perfect go-to when your skin is in need of an extra pampering. It’s light texture glides on smoothly and melts into your skin. With light reflecting gold particles and a supple matte finish, Elixir is also a perfect under make up primer.
Enzymes of the Green Coffee bean are loaded with anti-oxidants to fight free radicals, soothing puffy eyes and reducing the appearance of under eye dark circles. The exotic addition of Jasmine is the key to hydration in this formula, whilst also helping even out skin tone by healing blemishes & scars. Rich essential fatty acids & antioxidant carotenoids from Avocados not only help to fight free radicals, high amounts of Vitamin C also stimulate elastin and collagen to keep skin looking firm and youthful.
The packaging of the Elixir comes in a glass bottle which boasts a beautiful label design and graphics, keeping it consistent with the rest of the range. The rose gold text gives a nod to the brands eco-luxe values and it has a pump action dispenser making it easy to get the right amount of product.
The elixir is a lightweight formula and smells incredible! At first pump I was met with a beautiful fresh, floral with a hint of fruit scent. I liked to dispense two pumps of the serum into my hand, at night after cleansing my skin, working my hands together before massaging it into my face and neck in an upwards motion.
Not only does it absorb beautifully, not leaving any sticky residues unlike some serums, but it hydrates and upon waking up my skin looked radiant and clear.
While I have finished this bottle I would definitely buy it again and continue using it in combination with their Face Mud Cleanser.
The Herbs and Heart Elixir is available online or through selected stockists.
