Sunrise Halo Eyeshadow Makeup Look

Marisa Robinson Beauty Sunrise Makeup Look

Don't you just love when you set time aside to 'play' with makeup. I always find that it is in those moments that I surprise myself and create something incredible and that is exactly what happened with this look.

I had no idea how I wanted it to turn out, I didn't even know what colours I wanted to use although I'm sure you aren't surprised to see peachy tones :)

In this post I am going to share what products I used to create this Sunrise Halo Eyeshadow Makeup Look.

To prep my eyes I applied the Kat Von D 'Lock It' Concealer and blended it out with a damp Beautyblender before setting it with the Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder*.

I did my eyeshadow first so if there was any fall out it wouldn't ruin my base. I used shades from the Kylie Cosmetics 'Take Me On Vacation' Eyeshadow Palette and the Colourpop Cosmetics 'My Little Pony' Eyeshadow Palette to create this sunrise halo eyeshadow look.

I started by taking 'Aloha' the matte pastel peach shadow from the Kylie Cosmetics palette on a fluffy blending brush above my crease to create a transition shade. I then took 'Starfish' the matte papaya pink from the Kylie Cosmetics palette and patted it on the mobile lid, but keeping the centre of the lid free. I also took it into the crease so it blended with the peach transition shade. I then took a flat brush and packed on the 'Summer '17' metallic peachy gold shimmer from the Kylie Cosmetics palette on the centre of the lid. You can also use your finger to pack on shimmers which I find always gives a nice pigmented finish. I also used this shimmer for the inner corner highlight and on the brow bone. I then took the fuchsia pink from the Colourpop My Little Pony palette and added that on either side of the halo shimmer shadow on the centre of the lid to intensify the sunrise look.

For the lower lash line I applied the Colourpop fuchsia pink with a pencil brush to the outer corner and also some of the peach shadow which I used for my transition shade.

I then applied Mirenesse Secret Weapon Mascara* to my lashes before applying SocialEyes 'Tease 2.0' 3/4 lashes and then cut an old set of Ardell Demi Wispies* in half and used the smaller end on the inner corner. To fuse together I applied a final coat of Mirenesse Secret Weapon Mascara* and applied the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner over the lash band to conceal.

For my base I applied the First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Primer* which is my all time fave. I also used the Cover FX Blurring Primer* on my t-zone to minimise my pores.

For foundation I used the Designer Brands Luminous Foundation* and blended it out with a damp Beautyblender.

I then took the Kat Von D 'Lock It' Concealer under my eyes to conceal any dark spots and blended it out with the same damp Beautyblender.

I wanted to create a semi matte look so I took some Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder* on a face brush and tapped it over my t-zone.

To add some warmth to my complexion I used the Too Faced Sun Bunny Bronzer.

I then took my 'Rose Quartz' Shimmering Skin Perfector from Becca Cosmetics and applied it to the tops of my cheekbones, cupids bow and bridge of my nose.

I used the Kat Von D in Signature Brow Precision Pencil in Dark Brown* to fill and shape my brows. To lock them in place I used 'Boy Brow' from Glossier.

For my lips I used this electric neon pink from Kat Von D Beauty called 'Backstage Bambi'.

I hope you love this look as much as I did! If you have any questions about any of the products I used definitely let me know in the comments below.
