Youngblood Mineral Radiance Bronzer Review
When I was packing my makeup for a recent trip to America I realised I didn't have a good bronzer. While I was escaping an Australian Winter for a U.S Summer without one I was going to be the palest Australian tourist ever and that definitely wasn't the look I was going for!
So when Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics came to my rescue with their Mineral Radiance Bronzer and Blush compacts I put them in my bag straight away and set off on my vacay.
In this blog post I am going to share looks I created using both and my thoughts on each.
Before I share my thoughts here is some information from the Youngblood Cosmetics website:
Show off a healthy summer glow all year long with our mineral bronzer. Designed to kiss the skin with a multi-dimensional glow, super silky minerals refract light and sculpt facial contours. Sweep onto the face, eyes, and body for instant radiance or individually as a blush, highlighter or contour.
One of the main things I loved about these compacts was the versatility. You can swirl your brush throughout and use it as an all over bronzer or blush or you could dip into individual shades and use the shades as a contour, highlighter, eyeshadow and blush. When travelling THIS is exactly what I look for in makeup: multi purpose products which can do so many different things.
For the look above I took my face powder brush, swirled it though the Youngblood 'Sundance' bronzer and blended it onto my face and hairline (super important when bronzing and contouring so you don't end up with helmet - thanks Raw Beauty Kristi for that reference!) for an all over glow. The compact contains matte and ultra refined shimmer shades so you definitely get that multi dimensional glow. Please note that in the look above I used a little bit of highlighter but the glow is predominantly from the Sundance bronzer - it is that good!
These compacts also work beautifully for glam looks. Above is a makeup look I created for a wedding I attended and as you can see I am bronzy but by swirling my blush brush through the Youngblood 'Splendor' Multidimensional Blush it created a beautiful wash of colour on the cheeks. I tap it lightly on the apples of the cheeks and then take it back towards the hairline to blend it out. I also love using the matte shades in the blush as eyeshadow as they are that pinky peach colour which really makes my eyes pop.
If you are looking for a beautiful bronzer and blush to faux that summer glow the Youngblood Cosmetics Mineral Radiance compacts are a must! They are a vegan formulation and cruelty and paraben free!
These are available online from the Youngblood Cosmetics website and from selected stockists for $75.95 and they also accept AfterPay so you can pay in 4 payment of $18.99.
